A bit about Adam's bass guitars:
U2's home base has Hanover Quay since around 1996. They have a studio, practice room and storage facility
there. In the spring of 2002, as U2 were in Los Angeles for the Grammy Awards, there was a flood after a sea wall broke. This
flood did breach the first floor - storage area - of Hanover Quay. From what I've heard, there was a great amount of each
of the band members equipment that was lost in the flood.
As to which of Adam's bass' were destroyed, I am not 100% certain. But this would explain why Dallas
Schoo helped obtain the Sherwood Green and Shoreline Gold Fender Jazz Bass' for Adam; as per the VH-1 "Vertigo tour" special.
It is also why there were new addition to his line of Lakland Bass guitars. As to which of Adam's bass' were destroyed, I
am not 100% certain.
